Of course Servas Pakistan issues the Servas card to all our confirmed members free of charge each year & as I wrote you in my previous message that in Pakistan members can use this card for inland traveling but if someone forget or lost the card during traveling he/she can give the membership number to host for confirmation, but this card is not an alternate of LOI.

I never said that our card is a replace of LOI, what do you mean about that you are wonder who is paying for Servas Pakistan card? My dear you do not have any authority to interfere in our national issues.

Servas Pakistan never beg anyone for publishing host lists, web sites launching, printing for Servas cards & magazines, calling national meetings, youth events & other environmental projects. We are proud that Servas Pakistan can afford & bears all its expenditures itself. Please avoid using such sentences in future which are not based.

I was told that Exco was not satisfy with the idea of SIIC due to heavy expenditure on it, now here is my calculation for SIIC suppose “each card printing cost + mailing to other countries” is Euro 1/- (which is the minimum amount) & there are more than 17000 Servas families all over the world so Servas will spend Euros 17000/- per year, can Servas afford it?

If Servas can afford, it is good to issue SIIC to all the members worldwide. I do not know why you are getting this discussion so lengthy? If you are a true volunteer apart from Host List Officer & wish to do something for the youngster you may finish this discussion in two lines “OK this idea of SIIC is from Pakistan or Poland we wish to continue it” that’s all.

For me it is not a very serious issue, but please always encourage other countries because Servas is a world family & countries are its homes, we must spend our time for spreading love & peace worldwide through Servas.

I agree with your following lines: Young members and their ideas are the future of Servas. I am ready to give my time and energy. It would be nice if the young Servas-members can count on us: let us cooperate! Yes, we can!
