Servas International – Distant Votes Schedule

As provided by the Statutes of Servas International, I am honored to announce the following schedule of remote voting, as approved by EXCO at its meeting on December 15 as follows:

The Distant Votes until the next General Assembly are scheduled for the following times.

Please note, as provided by the Statutes:

1. A motion for inclusion in the next Distant Vote may be submitted to the President if it is requested by at least one tenth of the member groups (represented by their National Secretaries), or by any member of the Executive Committee. One tenth of the current member groups is about 8 member groups.

2. All motions submitted by member groups must be sent to the President at least four months before the scheduled closing date of the vote to be included in a Distant Vote.

3. A scheduled Distant Vote shall be canceled if no motions are received.

Distant Vote Schedule

DV May 2013: Beginning 1 May 2013 and closing 30 May 2013

**Agenda Items must be submitted by 30 January, 2013

DV Nov 2013: Beginning 1 November 2013 and closing 30 November, 2013

**Agenda items must be submitted by 30 July, 2013

DV May 2014: Beginning 1 May 2014 and closing 30 May 2014

**Agenda Items must be submitted by 30 January, 2014

DV Nov 2014: Beginning 1 November 2014 and closing 30 November, 2014

**Agenda items must be submitted by 30 July, 2014

DV May 2015: Beginning 1 May 2015 and closing 30 May 2015 (This session could be canceled if the GA 2015 is to be held before 30 november 2015)

**Agenda Items must be submitted by 30 January, 2015

Dear Dong-whan,

We encourage you to send your motions to the mail generalsecretary@servas.org or jaricol@yahoo.es in the terms of the mentioned statutes before 30 January 2013 in order to be included in the agenda of the next DV process to be held on 30 May 2013. However, please consider that there is the other following dead line for sending motions on 30 july 2013.

At the moment, EXCO has at least two motions to be voted on in May 2013, which will be published in early February along with received before January 30, 2013.
