Dear  Servas International Member Groups,

This is further to my email of July 14, 2018 in which I informed you about the five different Subject Working Groups (SWGs) where the various motions submitted to SICOGA 2018 would be discussed even before the start of SICOGA 2018 in October.

The information below particularly applies to you if you are a National Secretary who has submitted a motion/motions for discussion in SICOGA 2018 and/or your participation in SICOGA 2018 is being funded fully or partially by Servas International.

If you have submitted motions to SICOGA 2018, then you need to join the SWG or SWGs in which motions submitted by you are going to be discussed. If the motions submitted by you fall under more than one SWG and you feel that you would not be able to participate effectively in all of these SWGs, then you may join one SWG and nominate at least one Servas member from your country to each of the SWGs in which motions submitted by you would be discussed. This would ensure that the viewpoints of the movers of the motions are represented in the SWGs where these motions would be discussed. If you are an SI funded delegate who has not submitted any motions to SICOGA, then you need to join any SWG which interests you. You may also join more than one SWG if you wish.

If you are a funded or partially funded delegate, then you must join at least one SWG.

You are requested to join the SWG or SWGs of your choice as soon as possible, but in any case, by August 6, 2018, so that effective discussions can begin in all the SWGs. Thank you.
