Annual Conference - Servas China, 2014

Servas China에서 2014년 Annual Conference를 11/14 ~ 11/16를 개최한다고 초청메일 보내왔습니다.

Dear all,

It is a great pleasure for Ms.Tiffany Zheng, Servas China Deputy National Secretary and me to invite you to our Servas China Annual Conference.

This annual conference is to be held in one of the remote city of Liuzhou, Guangxi Province from Friday to Sunday, November 14th to 16th, 2014.

Liuzhou city is the melting pot place where Han Chinese and minority ethnic groups live peacefully with each other. Therefore we are lucky to have our conference venue locate in a residence village of Yao people (a minority ethnic group in Southwest China). You will enjoy the culture, food, people, and sight that are very different from the rest of China. We have now 10 vacancies open for international travelers from other Servas national groups and the conference fee is 70 US dollars (transportation from and to Liuzhou, accommodation in Jinxiu, two dinners and one lunch). Please let us know your application before Wednesday October 29th, 2014.

The run-down of the conference is as follows:

November 14th:

arrival in the city of Liuzhou (local volunteers will be arranged)
go and meet local hosts: Tiffany's family and Jack's family
city tour
meet at the Wuxing Pedestrian Commercial Area at 6 pm
dinner together

November 15th:

meet at the Wuxing Pedestrian Commercial Area at 9 am
leave for Jinxiu Yao Autonomous Village (a 2 hours trip)
check in the hostel
Village visit
meet in the lobby of the hostel to have dinner together

November 16th:

meeting in the lobby at 9 am
Servas China annual conference in the conference room
lunch together
leave and go back to the Liuzhou city (end of the conference)
