Shaoguan is a historic place of interest of this country, having played an important role in the history of Buddhism and Christian in China (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaoguan). You may also find this place of your interest as its Danxia UNESCO geo-park has been an attraction to tourists since the 1980s. Again, we would love to see you again in this beautiful scenery. This year, our international communication is to be undertaken by Ms. Jingjing Zeng of Servas China. She has proved to be a most reliable and hospital person. You can reach her at 44356338@qq.com. The nearest international airport is Baiyun International Airport of Guangzhou. You are advised to take the metro from the airport to the Express Railway Station (Guangzhou South). Then the express railway service will take you to the city of Shaoguan in 30 minutes. If you need any further assistance, you can contact Ms. Jingjing Zeng on and before May 30th. 3. Servas China is organizing a group of 30 people coming from Guangzhou to Shaoguan. If you would love to participate in the group, please advise Ms. Jingjing Zeng on or before May 30th. Day I Itinerary: (tentative) 8th July, 2016 (Friday): Arrival and check in. Dinner: Welcome dinner will be organized for the night of 8th July. Please register for the dinner which is included in the conference fee. Day II 9th July, 2016 (Saturday): 7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Servas China Annual Conference (I) 12:00 pm – 14:00 pm: lunch 14:00 pm – 17:30 pm: Servas China Annual Conference (II) 18:30 pm: Dinner 20:00 pm – 21:30 pm: (optional) night market Day III 10th July, 2016 (Sunday): City tour: Nanhua Buddhist Temple; Danxia Mountain 16:00 pm: leave Shaoguan; end of the conference Participation fee Twin sharing per person: USD 200 Single room per person: USD 280 Participation fee will be collected with further notice.
