Is this normal Servas behaviour:
* this year a Servas-traveler came to stay with us with four kids (10, 15, 17 and 18). Only for one night was her strong wish ... so we accommodated them for one night, prepared the dinner, arranged the five beds for them with sheets and blankets and organised the breakfast. During the breakfast they didn't include me in the conversation, they even didn't talk English that time, although everybody could speak English ... Never I have heared a...nything of them later on ... * this year a Servas travelers couple asked me to be able to meet "the locals" since they were staying in a hotel in my city. I have prepared a huge picnic breakfast for them, so that they could scip the expensive breakfast in the hotel ... I have shown them around in my car in my whole area, took them to my home for lunch and after some sightseeing I brought them back to the centre of my city on their request at 4 pm where they took the train to Amsterdam. Even in that case no single reaction ... Maybe I have put this issue earlier here, but what can I do as a Servas host in this kind of situations? Two other visits this year (one family from South Africa and one family from Paris) were very succesful. But 50% succesfull visits ?? It could be better .. although the year 2014 is stil on ¼¹Ù½º È£½ºÆ®¿Í Æ®·¡ºí·¯ ¿ì¸° ¾î¶² ¸ð½ÀÀ¸·Î ºñÄ¥±î¿ä ? posted by Ineke Takken from Netherland (Çѱ¹¼¹Ù½º Æ®·¹ºí·¯µµ ¸¹ÀÌ È£½ºÆ® ÇϽźÐÀÓ) |
