 지금 막 도착한 크루저 안내문입니다. Dear Mr. Kim, On Sunday, October 15, at 7am local time, a magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck Hawaii. The quake was centered about 10 miles north-northwest of Kailua-Kona, on the west coast of the Big Island. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported and little or no damage to structures in the area. There were widespread power outages and transportation delays the day of the quake, but electricity was quickly restored to all affected communities. The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau has reported that it's business as usual on all islands. The cruise ships in the Hawaiian Islands at the time were unaffected, though the Port of Kona was slightly damaged and closed for two days, forcing some itinerary changes. The port reopened on Tuesday, October 17, in time for the arrival of NCL's Pride of America and Norwegian Wind. At the time of this writing, hotels and resorts and tourist attractions are open for business, and all flights and cruise ships are operating on their regular schedules.
